Amplify Austin Day is I Live Here I Give Here’s signature program and the biggest giving event in Central Texas, raising $102.7 million for the local community since 2013. During a single 24-hour period, each year, in early March, residents across a seven-county region will come together to support more than 700 nonprofits by making a donation at AmplifyATX.org. 

On Amplify Austin Day, donors can make an impact on their collective community with a gift of $5 or more. The 700+ participating local nonprofits are organized into 19 Cause Categories to help donors find new organizations to support. From racial equity and civil rights, to those who serve animal care, children, and veterans, these cause categories engage everyone in mission-driven giving. As one donor said, “It’s THE day that energizes our community to give back.”

New this year is Amplify Wilco Day, a hyper-local campaign running alongside Amplify Austin Day to highlight those nonprofits that serve Williamson County.

Amplify Austin Day is for the entire Central Texas community. Individuals, families, and even companies can get involved with giving during Amplify Austin Day through I Live Here I Give Here’s Fundraising Champion and Business Fundraiser initiatives, as well as corporate sponsorships and matches. For Individuals and Families

BECOME AN AMPLIFYATX.ORG FUNDRAISER

In 2021, 1,809 individuals raised more than $1.3M for local nonprofits by creating their own, unique and personalized Amplify Austin fundraiser page! There are two types of fundraising pages for Amplify Austin Day.

Fundraising Champions

Option #1 – Fundraise for one organization: Show that you are passionate about a nonprofit’s work by creating a personal fundraising page for them on AmplifyATX.org. Share your page with family, friends, and co-workers to raise funds for the organization you have selected.

To sign-up as a Fundraising Champion, search our catalog of causes to find the right nonprofit for you and click the "Fundraise" button on the nonprofit's profile.

Option #2 – Fundraise for all organizations: Can’t pick just one nonprofit to fundraise for? Then this option is for you! When you set up a Free Agent fundraising page, you customize your story to reflect which organizations you will be supporting on Amplify Austin Day. Visitors to your page can then search the website and give to any cause that speaks to them. Donations made through your page will count towards your fundraising goal!

AmplifyATX.org allows you to select and donate to up to four nonprofits in one transaction. You also have the option to make a donation to the ILHIGH Amplify Fund to support all participating nonprofits during the checkout process.

Thanks to The Fund, most nonprofits were reimbursed for their costs to participate on Amplify Austin Day and hundreds received additional cash incentives.
