It is a strong fit for first-time givers who need a low-pressure entry point, families building values together, and people who prefer to volunteer or share skills instead of giving money. What to Expect

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Started by a New York nonprofit in 2012, GivingTuesday has spread to 150+ countries and last year alone saw 34 Million people give back around the world.

I Live Here I Give Here has been the official Central Texas GivingTuesday Community Leader for GivingTuesday since 2017. Using our online giving platform, AmplifyATX.org, Central Texans can now easily connect with local causes they care about, make a donation, or sign up to volunteer in support of GivingTuesday.
GivingTuesday 2024 Results:
- $251,790 raised through AmplifyATX.org for 700+ Central Texas nonprofits.
- $64,724,692 raised in Central Texas, reported by GivingTuesday HQ
Why it Matters
