The I Live Here, I Give Here campaign will boost giving in Central Texas by increasing awareness of the needs in our community and the nonprofits that work to meet those needs.

The campaign does not endorse the nonprofits listed on the I Live Here, I Give Here website but does ask them to provide the following information:

  • Confirmation that they are a 501(c)3 organization or sponsored by a 501(c)3 organization
  • Their tax ID number
  • Reporting on aggregate receipts from individual donors pre- and post-campaign
  • Reporting on staff attendance at or commitment to attend learning opportunities focused on individual donor stewardship

Terms & Conditions

By submitting this application to the I Live Here, I Give Here campaign, I/we attest that the information provided here in is complete and accurate.

With this application, I/we submit:

  • the total number of individual donors (not foundation, government or corporate) to our organization between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008
  • the total dollars donated to our organization by individual donors between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008

I/We further agree to provide the I Live Here, I Give Here campaign a report of the following, by May 15, 2009:

  • the total number of individual donors (not foundation, government or corporate) to our organization between April 1, 2007 and April 1, 2008
  • the total dollars donated to our organization by individual donors between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009

I/We understand that this donor information will be used in measurement efforts of overall giving in Austin, and will not be distributed to the general public.

I/We agree to provide staff and/or Board level volunteers with learning opportunities focused on the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors before April 30, 2009 and report on those activities to the I Live Here, I Give Here campaign by May 15, 2009.

I/We agree to display the I Live Here, I Give Here logo and link on the home page of our Web site from April 30, 2008 through April 30, 2009.

I/We will consider having a "Voices" presentation, coordinated by the I Live Here, I Give Here campaign, to our Board of Directors.
