The mission of the Texas Civil Rights Project is to promote racial, social, and economic justice through community education and litigation. We strive to foster equality, secure justice, ensure diversity, and strengthen communities, having been originally founded in 1978 as Oficina Legal del Pueblo Unido, Inc. TRLA is a nonprofit agency that specializes in providing free civil legal services to the indigent residents of Central Texas. The organization helps clients with a range of problems confronting the low-income community. www.trla.org 

Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas finds lawyers to help low-income people with civil legal problems at no charge. We assist with critical matters, such as obtaining medical and financial benefits for the disabled; helping abuse victims end violent relationships, and averting homelessness by defending against wrongful evictions and foreclosures. www.vlsoct.org
