With the See Jane Give! Dinners, I Live Here, I Give Here’s goal is to inspire guests to think more deeply about their own philanthropy and to consequently give for maximum impact in the community. The evening begins with a cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner. Then a speaker talks about her personal joy of charitable giving and philanthropic journey and shares advice on thoughtful giving. The following hour is set aside for table conversation. A Host Committee member, her invited guests and a Philanthropy Mentor are seated at each table while the Mentor shares her story and, along with the Host Committee member, guides table discussion on how each individual can incorporate meaningful and thoughtful philanthropy into her life for a more powerful effect in the community.
The next SEE JANE GIVE! Dinner TBD.

2. Monthly Spotlight Issue Conversations Each month community issues are spotlighted to inform attendees about needs facing our community. Experts in the field lead a discussion and answer questions on specifics of nonprofit programs in the community. The format of the discussions varies from “lunch and learn” sessions at noon to early evening panels of experts followed by a happy hour to continue the conversation.
One of the goals of the SEE JANE GIVE! Dinners is to inform guests that thoughtful giving or philanthropy means an individual learns about the needs in the community and then makes a decision to give or contribute based on this knowledge and their personal values. The monthly spotlight issue conversations provide an individual with the opportunity to learn.
