Community Needs Spotlight
- 88% feel a greater obligation to increase giving
- 60% report giving more money to nonprofits
Multiple Events
- 86% feel a greater obligation to increase giving
- 64% report giving more money to nonprofits
Respondents report having talked to others about the needs; gotten more involved; and asked others to give to a nonprofit at comparable levels.
Central Texas donors are maintaining or increasing giving and some want help in making their charitable decisions.
80% of those surveyed plan to either increase or maintain individual giving levels in 2009
Donors who are less aware of and connected to the campaign say they would give more if:

- They were convinced their money would be used well for the cause.

- 79% gained other useful ideas, contacts or resources to build their funding base
- 71% have a working fund development plan
- 64% are more capable of raising money this year than last
- 57% are getting more board members involved in fundraising

- 4% decrease to involved nonprofits

THE BOTTOM LINE The more one, be it an individual or a nonprofit organization, is engaged with I Live Here, I Give Here, the more they are impacted by our mission.
