Here in Central Texas, we take action in the face of adversity. We’re fiercely independent and entrepreneurial. We are passionate and work tirelessly to see our vision come to life. But we’re also deep-rooted. We have a strong sense of community and ties to the land. We embrace a friendly attitude and lend a helping hand to neighbors in need. 

Changemakers lead our community to a more equitable and prosperous future by embracing that fierce independence and personal responsibility, all while staying firmly grounded and community-minded. Changemakers understand that no gift is too small, and that we all have different gifts to contribute. They know that we share our community with future generations — our kids, our grandchildren, the people who will carry on our work and call this place home hundreds of years from now. 

I Live Here I Give Here envisions a Central Texas community that is the most generous in the country. A community where neighbors look out for each other; where we protect the people, places, animals, landscapes, and histories that build us up; where we see that all of our individual actions work together to ignite a movement.
